Sagintayev noted that the active involvement of the business communities of the member states of the Eurasian integration association is an important factor in enhancing the competitiveness of their economies.
Among the main areas of work with businesses, according to EEC representatives, is the creation of favorable conditions for expanding export opportunities:
- In 2025, it is planned to sign trade agreements with Indonesia, the UAE, and Mongolia.
- The full-format agreement on the free trade zone with Iran has come into force, and negotiations with India have also intensified.
- An analysis is being conducted on the feasibility of concluding a free trade agreement with Tunisia.
“The Commission's work is aimed at creating favorable conditions for business, which is achieved by unlocking the potential of Eurasian economic integration. The main beneficiaries of our initiatives are entrepreneurs from the EAEU countries,” concluded Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
