In response, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nurbek Abdieyev noted that there are currently many diverse schemes of fraud.
“Fraudsters call posing as employees of government institutions and demand money transfers. There are also widespread scams through messengers and schemes related to attracting investments,” he added.
Talieva also asked whether organizations using the "pyramid" method to attract funds, similar to network marketing, had been shut down.
Abdieyev replied that inspections of such organizations are conducted on an ongoing basis.
The deputy noted that police officers often refuse to accept reports of internet fraud, citing the large number of such complaints and the lack of results.
The meeting also discussed information on the implementation of the resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 25, 2025, No. 3297-VII "On measures to combat fraudulent crimes in the banking sector and the Internet."
