President Sadyr Japarov, at a meeting in the state complex Intymak Ordo, spoke about significant changes in Kyrgyzstan's aviation infrastructure and that the country is close to exiting the European Union's "black list."

He noted that a large-scale modernization of airports has been carried out across the republic: runways have been updated, terminals have been reconstructed, and modern navigation and flight safety standards have been implemented. These steps have significantly improved transport connectivity between regions and created conditions for an increase in international flights.

“We are essentially meeting modern requirements and have completely restructured the country's aviation infrastructure,” the president emphasized.

Sadyr Japarov also added that thanks to these efforts, Kyrgyzstan is approaching an important stage of exiting the EU's "black list," where the republic has been for almost two decades. The opening of European airspace, in his opinion, will be an important step for the development of tourism, attracting foreign investments, and strengthening the country's international image.

Moreover, he pointed out that joining a unified airspace will open new economic opportunities in passenger and cargo transportation, which, in turn, will contribute to the development of the state and improve the living standards of citizens.
