Also during the discussion, Deputy Suyunbek Omurzakov clarified that according to Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the law on public procurement, changes to this law can be made no more than once a year.
Support for the bill was expressed by Deputy Kunduzbek Sulaymanov, who stressed that its goals are aimed at more effective and rational use of budget funds at both the republican and local levels in the public procurement process.
Deputy Mederbek Aliyev noted that the proposed changes meet the current requirements of the time. He added that during tenders, purchasing organizations often focus on low prices, which can negatively affect the quality of the goods, works, and services acquired.
Thus, the bill aims to improve the public procurement process and minimize risks in the selection of subcontractors.
