The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds citizens about the possibility of reporting cases of environmental violations using the hotline 108.
The agency emphasizes that actions such as burning waste and using vehicles with high emissions contradict the law and cause serious harm to the environment. Citizens are urged to inform about such incidents, including the burning of textile waste, tires, and other hazardous materials, as well as about vehicles emitting thick smoke, using the specified phone number.
Reasons to report:
- emissions of toxic substances worsen air quality;
- smog negatively affects public health;
- long-term damage is inflicted on the ecosystem.
Capture the incident in a photo or video. Call the number 108. Provide additional details (address, vehicle number, etc.). The hotline is available for calls on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
