Support for wintering white swans has been organized in the Issyk-Kul region, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the information from the department, inspectors from the ecological and technical service of the Issyk-Kul region conducted a feeding campaign for swans along the shores of Issyk-Kul to protect wildlife and its inhabitants.
In winter, natural food sources for birds significantly decrease, and therefore ensuring stable and safe nutrition for them has become a primary priority.
“This event is aimed at preserving the population of white swans and maintaining ecological balance in the natural environment,” the statement noted.
