A system called 'Nedra' is being launched in Kyrgyzstan for the digitalization of geology

A meeting was held in Bishkek to discuss issues related to the digitalization of the geological sector. The event was chaired by the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Meder Mashiev. The main focus was on preparing the information system "Nedra" for the testing phase.

According to the department, as part of the digitalization efforts, a geological information system "Nedra" is actively being developed at the Kyrgyz Geological Service. This process includes defining the system's functionality and its readiness for practical application.

Particular attention is being paid to the integration of the system into the operations of the geological service and its effective use in the field of subsoil use.

"Currently, the implementation and refinement of the 'Nedra' system is being carried out in test mode. The introduction of this system will improve the accounting of geological data, as well as enhance the transparency of processes and the quality of public services in the geological sector," the official statement noted.

The development of the system is being carried out by JSC "Tündük." The system will provide advantages, allowing both individuals and legal entities to receive geological services and submit applications online.
