Air pollution cost KR drivers 3.7 million soms in fines

In 2025, 202 protocols for violations of emission standards from motor vehicles were registered, resulting in fines totaling over 3.7 million soms. This information was provided by the Ministry of Nature of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Additionally, during inspections over the same period, 450 protocols were drawn up amounting to 9.87 million soms, and notifications were sent to 3,795 enterprises requiring compliance with environmental standards.

It should be noted that since December 10, 2024, in accordance with order No. 382, regular raids have been conducted in the republic aimed at protecting the atmospheric air. These initiatives are directed at reducing pollution levels and ensuring compliance with environmental standards throughout the country.
