At the meeting of the permanent commission of the Bishkek City Council on economics, budget, finance, and investments on February 9, Deputy Erjan Nasiraliyev ("Adilet") announced that Bishkek School No. 84 has 4,500 students enrolled, while the projected capacity is only 900 students.

Nasiraliyev emphasized that he raised this issue last year, pointing out the availability of a vacant plot for the construction of a new school.

In response, Bishkek's Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov stated that all children living in the Ak-Ordo new building attend this school. To address the shortage of educational places in the Ala-Too area, the Ministry of Construction is completing the construction of one school and is also starting the construction of two others.

Kadyrov acknowledged that the number of schools is insufficient to meet the growing needs of the population and added that an analysis conducted in cooperation with the Department of Education and local akimats identified locations for building educational institutions in areas where they are lacking. He also noted that new construction in Ala-Too and Ak-Ordo-3 will help alleviate the burden on School No. 84.
