Why are the first three years crucial in a child's life? This question was answered by the kindergarten teacher of "Ata-Türk" in Naryn, Zhanil Keneshovna Abdrakhmanova, in an interview with a Turmush correspondent.

Zhanil Abdrakhmanova, who has been working at this preschool institution since its opening, has 15 years of teaching experience.

The educator was born in 1974 in the village of Temirovka in the Issyk-Kul region and showed an interest in teaching from an early age. After graduating with honors from the Naryn Pedagogical College with a degree in "Preschool Education," she continued her studies at Naryn State University, where she received a diploma as a primary school teacher.

The Abdrakhmanov family is an example of professional continuity: Zhanil's daughter also works in the kindergarten, one of her sons chose a military career, and another is studying at a university.

In her work with the preparatory group, Zhanil notes that according to new standards, children start attending kindergarten at 1.5 years old, and she leads the little ones from an early age. The educator is concerned about the "digital dependency" of the modern generation. "Parents, seeking peace, often give their children smartphones, which, in my opinion, is one of the main reasons for delayed speech development. Communication with children has become less frequent," she says.

In Zhanil's opinion, children who are accustomed to gadgets come to kindergarten in a depressed mood and often cry due to the lack of a phone. Meanwhile, little ones whose parents read books to them show a much higher level of development: they are curious, ask for stories, and have a good vocabulary.

Zhanil pays special attention to speech development, incorporating speech therapy exercises into every lesson. "Children raised in traditional families, where grandmothers tell fairy tales, speak more clearly and expressively. Those who spend time in front of screens often cannot coherently express their thoughts and feelings," she shares her observations.

The educator believes that the first three years are a critically important period. A child's brain actively absorbs information, even if they are not yet speaking. Sometimes children cry because their "voice" is not heard at home. For example, if a mother did not want to learn a poem with her child. Children imitate adults, and if parents are constantly on their phones, the little ones will demand the same. "A child is a reflection of their parents. They need not so much screen time as your attention, love, and care," concludes Zhanil Abdrakhmanova.
