The educator from the village of Ak-Zhar, Bektursun kyzy Medina, shared with a Turmush correspondent her observations on how children in kindergartens perceive information and develop.

In her opinion, modern children are often hindered by the extensive use of mobile phones.

Medina, a teacher with a big heart and a deep understanding of child psychology, considers her work not just a profession, but an important contribution to the future.

She was born in 1997 in the At-Bashinsky district of the Naryn region and spent her childhood there. Her attachment to her homeland was one of the reasons she chose to marry in that place.

She is a caring mother of two children, successfully balancing family life with professional responsibilities. Currently, Medina works as a Russian language teacher at the "Akzhar–Sezim" kindergarten, where she lays the foundation of knowledge for the little ones.

In her classes, she pays special attention to an individual approach to each child, focusing on the development of speech, thinking, and worldview. For her, each child is important as a personality, and she strives to be the kind of educator who guides and supports.

“Sometimes it seems that children perceive information worse, but this may be related to underdeveloped fine motor skills. Mobile phones also have a significant impact. Some parents, to finish their tasks more quickly, simply give their children a phone, forgetting the importance of live communication. But nothing can replace real play and emotional exchange for a child,” she notes.

“It is extremely important to play more with children, engage in developmental games, and communicate with them on equal terms, with respect. Communication should be clear and straightforward. I am concerned about the rise in developmental disorders, such as autism, which is an incurable disease. Therefore, prevention and attention to early signs become especially important,” Medina adds.

She emphasizes that when communicating with a child, one should not remain at a distance; it is necessary to sit beside them, look into their eyes, and have a face-to-face conversation. This approach fosters a sense of worth in the child.

“Little children perceive information even faster than we do. They absorb everything like sponges. Therefore, it is important for parents to respond accurately and correctly to their questions. Only through play and close communication can a child open up, begin to trust, and develop fully,” concludes the educator.
