Zulfia Sydygalieva, the director of this preschool institution, shared interesting stories about the antique toys with a Turmush correspondent.
According to her, the children who first played with these toys have now become grandparents, and their grandchildren continue the legacy by playing with the same items.
- The construction of the kindergarten "Büchür" began in 1973, and it opened in 1975. Currently, 65 children are enrolled here.
“I myself was a pupil of this kindergarten. When it first opened its doors, children born in 1968-1970 came, and I was placed in the younger group. The toys from that time, including a wooden constructor, matryoshkas, checkers, and blocks, have been preserved to this day. They are made from quality materials, and the children are allowed to play with them,” noted Z. Sydygalieva.
Additionally, the kindergarten has educational materials.
“Last year, while organizing the storage room, we found chalk and paper that were used in the 1970s for lessons. We pass them on to our pupils. It is important to note that the preservation of these toys is the merit of my mother, Aishagul Kökjalova, who worked in the kindergarten for 50 years,” she added.
