Young Inventors from Jayil District and Kar-Balta City Presented Their Projects

At the House of Children's Creativity in Kar-Balta, the results of the Science and Technology Week in Jayil District were summarized.

The event gathered schoolchildren passionate about construction, robotics, and scientific experiments.

Throughout the week (from February 23 to 27), exhibitions and competitions of scientific and technical creativity were held in the district's schools. Students presented their own models, inventions, and research projects. The best works were selected for the final stage at the House of Children's Creativity, where they were evaluated by a jury. The jury included Guliza Junushbaeva, the leading specialist of the district's education department, as well as teachers and the deputy director of the House of Children's Creativity.

Students from nine schools in Kar-Balta and schoolchildren from Fedorovskaya, Sosnovskaya, Sary-Bulak, and Suusamyr schools participated in the competition.

Opening the event, jury chair Guliza Junushbaeva wished the participants good luck and noted that the winners would represent Jayil District at the regional stage.

The exhibition turned out to be diverse and surprised even experienced educators. For instance, Danil Ovsyannikov, a 7th grader from school No. 10, presented a moving model of a beet harvester made from cardboard.

Fifth graders from Fedorovskaya School showcased a project for a three-story House of Children's Creativity "Kelechek" in the shape of a yurt, which, in their opinion, could appear in their village.

The project by Dmitry Rutskiy, a student from school No. 9, also drew interest — a helper robot for medical workers.

Students from Kar-Balta School No. 4 presented several innovative projects - from a stand model to moving robotics models.

Young inventors from Suusamyr School named after Karabekov demonstrated a machine for making kumys, a moving car, a vacuum cleaner, and a fan.

Sary-Bulak School presented a model of an excavator.

Students also showcased other developments: an underwater robot for cleaning the bottom of Lake Issyk-Kul, a model of an ecological machine for sorting waste, devices for harnessing wind energy, robots for sports training, and models of "smart" homes.

Based on the results of the competition, the jury determined the winners in several nominations.

In the "Stand Model" nomination, first place in the junior group went to school No. 10, and in the senior group - to school No. 4. Second place was awarded to Fedorovskaya School and school No. 9, while third place went to school No. 12 (junior group) and school No. 11 (senior group).

In the "Robotics" nomination, the winners were students from school No. 9 (junior group) and school No. 4 (senior group). Second places in both groups were taken by students from school No. 6, and third places went to representatives of schools No. 2 and No. 4.

In the "Latest Technology" nomination, first place in the junior group was awarded to students from Suusamyr School named after Karabekov, and in the senior group - to school No. 1 in Kar-Balta. Second place went to Suusamyr School named after Karabekov (junior group) and the school from the village of Sary-Bulak (senior group).

In the "Energy-Saving Technology" nomination, first place in the junior group was taken by a student from school No. 8 in Kar-Balta, and in the senior group - by students from the school in the village of Sosnovka. Second place in the junior group also went to students from Sosnovka.

For their active participation, awards were given to students from schools No. 11, No. 1 in Kar-Balta, Suusamyr School named after Turkmen, and Fedorovskaya School.

The director of the House of Children's Creativity, Gulnara Tulenova, noted that the main outcome of the Science and Technology Week is not just diplomas and prize places. Much more important is the interest of schoolchildren in science and technology. Today, their ideas are being realized in models and prototypes, but it is often from such first steps that the path to real inventions begins.
