In the Kochkor district, a meat product fair was held. This was reported by a Turmush correspondent.

The fair was organized to provide vulnerable segments of the population with meat at more affordable prices. The event was conducted by the Sary-Bulak rural administration in collaboration with a society for people with disabilities.

At the fair, meat from one horse and ten lambs (toks) was offered for sale, as well as goat meat.

The prices were as follows:

horse meat — 600 soms per kg (kazy, karta, chuchuk);

lamb — 630 soms per kg;

poultry meat was also sold.

Additionally, on that day, other sellers offered beef at 630 soms per kg, and one beef shank was priced at 150 soms.

It is noted that to stabilize meat prices, by order of the district authorities, a meat fair is held every Saturday at the Kochkor district bus station. The rural administration is required to bring meat products and sell them at reduced prices.

The Antimonopoly Service of the Kyrgyz Republic has set a maximum price for meat in the Kochkor district — 640 soms. Penalties for selling above the established price are as follows: 3,000 soms for the first violation, 16,000 soms for the second, and 27,000 soms for the third.
