In the Kochkor district of the Naryn region, where the established price for meat is 640 soms, some traders exceed this cost, offering meat for 700 soms and more. This was reported by the deputy akim of the district, Erkin Chekirbaev, at a meeting of the local government administration.

Chekirbaev noted that there are 7-8 meat points operating in the village of Kochkor. "The price of meat should remain at the level of 640 soms. We must insist on this, however, after inspections, some stores raise prices again," he said.

During the meeting, an initiative was voiced to create a commission to check meat trading points. If they do not meet the requirements, the issue of closing such stores may need to be considered. It was also proposed to implement a video surveillance system. According to available data, in some stores, the price of meat reaches 700-750 soms.

Ruslan Saparbekov, deputy representative of the president in the Naryn region, emphasized that the population is dissatisfied with the rising prices. He suggested not to limit actions to just warnings but to organize pavilions with affordable meat and to require the ayil okmotu to ensure sales at reasonable prices. "If there is an affordable alternative, buyers will stop going to expensive stores, and prices will start to decrease," he added.

Bayaly Dosaliev, akim of the Kochkor district, noted that most buyers prefer to purchase meat in the village of Kochkor. Therefore, it is necessary to establish sales at reduced prices not only in the district center but also in each ayil okmotu. He also pointed out the distrust of some residents towards meat priced at 600 soms, which is related to insufficient informational work by the veterinary service. District authorities are negotiating with private companies.

Additionally, there are plans to open a social store at the bus station so that vulnerable groups of the population can buy meat at lower prices. The ayil okmotu has also been tasked with regularly organizing fairs.

At the meeting, it was mentioned that after inspections by the Antimonopoly Service, some stores were fined three times: first for 3,000 soms, second for 16,000 soms, and third for 27,000 soms. Other trading points also received fines of 3,000 and 16,000 soms. To stabilize prices, fairs are held on Saturdays, where meat is offered at 600 soms.
