Price control is carried out within the framework of the specified measures, and the district administrations of Sverdlovsk, Pervomaisky, Lenin, and Oktyabrsky districts, as well as representatives of the antimonopoly service, veterinary authorities, and tax services participate in this process. Together, they regularly conduct raids and monitoring at markets and retail points in the capital.

The checks cover markets such as TRK "Osh Bazaars," "Orto-Sai," "Alamidin," "Dordoi," "Aziz," as well as retail chains "Market," "Globus," "Asia," and other trading facilities.

During the monitoring process, explanatory work is carried out with entrepreneurs aimed at preventing unjustified price increases and ensuring compliance with the established maximum retail prices. In particular, special attention is paid to ensuring that the maximum price for beef and lamb does not exceed 680 soms per kilogram.

Measures are also being considered to increase the trade in meat products at affordable prices, including the allocation of trading spaces without intermediaries and the opening of additional sales points.

Furthermore, the city administration announced the opening of a new meat pavilion "Chuygun" at the "Altyn-Taka" livestock market starting January 14, 2026, which is intended for wholesale meat sales and meets all sanitary and veterinary requirements. Currently, wholesale meat trading is conducted in this pavilion.

Retail meat sales are also carried out in the same area at the "Taza Adal Et" pavilion, where residents can purchase quality and safe products.

The city administration added that all points selling meat at the Osh market have been relocated to the "Altyn-Taka" livestock market. The new pavilion "Chuygun" offers residents quality meat at both wholesale and retail prices.

As of now, the current wholesale prices for meat are: lamb — from 640 to 680 soms, beef — from 640 to 680 soms, horse meat — from 540 to 560 soms. Retail prices start from 660 soms.
