Now, wholesale meat sales will be conducted in the new meat pavilion "Chüyğun," which is located on the territory of the livestock market "Altyn-Taka" in the Maevka area (Pervomaisky District).
These changes were implemented under a special resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and are aimed at ensuring compliance with veterinary and phytosanitary standards. This should also enhance the safety of meat products and provide the population with quality food products.
The "Chüyğun" pavilion covers an area of 800 sq. m and, according to information from the initiators, meets all sanitary and hygienic requirements. It includes an office, a veterinary laboratory, a quarantine storage facility, a refrigeration chamber of 90 sq. m, as well as other service premises.
The relocation of wholesale trading is intended to create more organized conditions for both entrepreneurs and suppliers, as well as for buyers of meat products in Bishkek and the surrounding regions.
