According to current legislation, specifically the Law on Copyright and Related Rights, exclusive rights to audiovisual works belong to their authors. Any unauthorized copying or publication of fragments of the film on the internet is considered illegal.
Responsibility for Violations
Law enforcement agencies have already identified two violators who were engaged in the illegal publication of materials. Each of them has been fined 50,000 soms.
The authors of the film warn that any further attempts at piracy will be treated as intentional violations. Information about new cases of infringement will be forwarded to the judicial authorities for the application of civil, administrative, and criminal measures, including the possibility of imprisonment.
The creators urge bloggers, media outlets, and internet users to respect the work of others and refrain from actions that violate intellectual property.
