
At the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnology named after B. Jamgerchinov, a scientific round table was held on the topic "100 Years of the Kyrgyz ASSR: Experience and Prospects."
According to the press service of the president's administration, the event was chaired by the State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan, Arslan Koichiev.
In his speech, the State Secretary emphasized that to celebrate the centenary of the formation of the Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, it is important to analyze the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood, as well as to consider the political and social processes of the Soviet era, issues of national consciousness and identity, while continuing in-depth research in this area.
During the meeting, experts, including historians and political scientists, analyzed archival documents and presented their conceptual proposals for the scientific community.
At the conclusion of the event, Arslan Koichiev noted that such scientific discussions contribute to a better understanding of the history of Kyrgyz statehood, help draw important lessons from the past in the context of the present and future, and also urged scholars to systematically research this topic.
