At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 4, Deputy Tentishev reminded about the problems with the eviction of residents from the military town.

According to him, residents from four apartments have been evicted so far, and the Ministry of Defense has filed lawsuits for the eviction of more than 20 additional apartments. Last year, the deputy organized a meeting between the mayor of Kant and Minister Baktybek Bekbolotov, who showed interest in solving the problem. However, after the minister was transferred to another position, no actions have been taken by the Ministry of Defense.

Furthermore, Tentishev pointed out that the emergency boiler in the town has not been repaired for several years.

He noted that two years ago, Minister of Finance Almaz Kushbekovich assured that funding was not an issue and that funds would be allocated immediately after the Ministry of Defense submitted a request, but to date, the situation remains unchanged. The mayor's office of Kant expressed readiness to take the boiler onto its balance sheet but requires its repair, the deputy added.

Tentishev suggested reaching out to the leadership of the Russian airbase, as they also use this boiler, and proposed transferring the management of the military town to the mayor's office through a Cabinet resolution.

The deputy emphasized that the town lacks infrastructure: there is no kindergarten, playgrounds, paved roads, street lighting, or football fields, although there is space for these facilities. People have lost faith in the resolution of their problems, and he believes a decisive solution from the authorities is necessary, he addressed to the representative of the president and the Cabinet of Ministers in parliament, Almasbek Abytov.
