At a briefing held today, Arzymat Aldayev, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan, stated that Bishkek must achieve full gasification by 2030.

During the administrative reform, the number of residential areas in the capital has increased to 105, and according to Aldayev, more than half of them are already connected to gas.

“Our task is to provide gas to about 60,000 households, which accounts for almost half of the remaining areas. We plan to accomplish this within the next five years,” he noted.

In addition, Aldayev reported on the operation of a preferential lending project that has been in effect for three years. In the future, it is planned to expand this project not only for gasification but also for the use of renewable energy sources and heat pumps, as well as to cover the entire territory of the country. Gas tariffs will be regulated by government authorities and will depend on the exchange rate of the dollar.
