During his working trip to Russia, the Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov met with Kyrgyz medical professionals.
According to the press service of the ministry, the meeting took place at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and gathered about 60 doctors working in Moscow.
Topics discussed included the return of medical personnel to their homeland, as well as the creation of conditions for their professional growth within the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan.
During the conversation, the minister spoke about the reform of the sector, plans for the modernization of medical institutions, salary increases, improvement of infrastructure, and working conditions for medical workers. Special attention was paid to social support, career growth, and the creation of comfortable conditions for young specialists.
The medical professionals shared their experiences of working abroad and expressed their suggestions and questions regarding employment, adaptation, and career opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the meeting, several young specialists expressed their desire to consider the possibility of returning to their homeland to continue their professional activities in the healthcare sector.
"The healthcare system needs highly qualified, goal-oriented, and dedicated specialists. The state is interested in having our doctors and medical workers return and develop, contributing to the strengthening of the population's health. The ministry is ready to provide comprehensive support and create decent living and working conditions," said Kanibek Dosmambetov.
