He emphasized that this field is diverse; however, for Kyrgyzstan and its artisans, such a number is relatively small.
Nadyrbekov added that the Ministry of Culture does not have a specialized institution overseeing craftsmanship, but is still actively working on developing policies in this area.
“At the moment, we are preparing regulatory legal acts; the program is in the development stage, and this process is ongoing. We also regularly send artisans abroad for professional development,” he noted.
The Deputy Minister of Culture reported that in 2025, nine artisans will go to South Korea for three months of training.
