According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the discussion focused on the outcomes of projects implemented with the support of Switzerland in the country's healthcare sector, as well as future plans for cooperation.
During the meeting, the results of joint initiatives aimed at improving the financial accessibility of medical services for the population, raising public awareness about health, including the establishment of health committee associations at the local level, as well as enhancing the qualifications of medical personnel, strengthening primary healthcare, and managing non-communicable diseases were reviewed.
The parties expressed their interest in further strengthening the partnership and expanding cooperation in key areas of healthcare system development.
