During the discussion, the parties reviewed the outcomes of projects implemented in the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan with the support of Switzerland and explored opportunities for further cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the results of joint initiatives aimed at improving financial protection for citizens in the healthcare sector, raising public awareness about health, including the development of health committee associations at the local level, as well as enhancing the qualifications of healthcare workers. Issues related to strengthening primary healthcare, preventing and managing non-communicable diseases, and improving healthcare management were also discussed.
Meeting participants noted that current projects contribute to improving the accessibility and quality of medical services, developing preventive measures, and strengthening the institutional capacities of the country's healthcare system.
As a result of the negotiations, both parties expressed interest in continuing the partnership and expanding cooperation in priority areas of healthcare development.
