This market operates only for a month each year — during the fasting period — and offers a variety of products necessary for iftar.
The iftar market is unique in that it features homemade dishes that are healthy and suitable for those who are fasting. Vendors prepare and offer their customers fruits, vegetables, salads, various types of bread, sweets, spicy meat dishes, and other ready-made treats.
Davranbek Akbaraliev, one of the market vendors, shared that they start working after lunch, and there is always a large flow of people here.
“We start after the noon (Peshim) prayer and continue until iftar. We sell samsa, light dishes, aspic; we have chuchuk delivered, and we also offer a variety of sausages and smoked chicken rolls. Additionally, we prepare and sell dumby ourselves. Throughout the month, many customers come to us, and they most often buy light dishes, aspic, chuchuk, beef tongue, kuyruq, and sausages,” he added.
In turn, Mahabat Kurmanbekova, another vendor, invited people to visit this market.
“We work here and offer boorsoks, zharmu, kurut, and other products. Come to the iftar market and choose what you like. I congratulate everyone on the month of Orozо,” she noted.
