
According to information, on February 14, the assistant on duty of the Special Operations Unit of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate No. 1, Bolotbek uulu Elaman, and police lieutenant colonel Toktosun uulu Erkebek, while heading to service after a briefing, noticed a black wallet left by the curb at the intersection of Moscow and Fuchik Streets.
After checking the find, the law enforcement officers discovered documents and a bundle of cash inside. They did not open the contents of the wallet. Upon returning to the police station, they identified the owner and immediately contacted him.
It turned out that the man hadn’t even noticed that he had lost his item. At the police station, he confirmed that nearly one million soms and all documents remained in perfect condition.
Later, citizen A.T. expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs and requested that the honesty of the officers be recognized. In response, the leadership decided to award Bolotbek uulu Elaman and Toktosun uulu Erkebek with letters of appreciation for their conscientious behavior.
The department emphasized that such actions serve as an example of commitment to principles and professional ethics.
