The results of the Russian Language Week at Osh State University

A recent event at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Osh State University marked a significant moment in the lives of students — the solemn conclusion of the Russian Language Week took place here. First-year students from all faculties actively participated in this educational marathon.

The week was filled with various formats of events: from traditional Olympiads to creative competitions. Over the course of five days, students showcased their language skills and artistic abilities by participating in theatrical performances and reciting poems by famous authors.

The grand finale of the celebration was a competition featuring eight of the best students. They successfully passed tests in grammar, syntax, and etymology. The finalists also demonstrated their knowledge of culture by discussing traditional items of Russian life and conducting virtual tours of famous cities in Russia.

The presence of Dmitry Avram, the head of the Russian House in Osh, who chaired the jury, added special significance to the event. He highly praised the participants' preparation, noting their genuine interest in studying both the linguistic aspects and the cultural heritage of the country.

The ceremonial part was memorable for its vibrant performances: the winners of the creative competitions read literary works and performed popular songs. The celebration concluded with a theatrical performance of the fairy tale "Morozko," which added to the atmosphere of the finale.

At the final stage of the event, an award ceremony took place. The winners of the Olympiad received diplomas and commemorative gifts, while the other participants were awarded certificates acknowledging their achievements in learning the Russian language.
