The process of dismantling structures that were built in violation of the approved project continues in Bishkek. The demolition work began earlier this week, and journalists from 24.kg checked on the progress of the process.
The metal frame built on the site of the old fountains near TSUM was deemed non-compliant with the agreed project requirements. Changes to the project were not discussed at the urban planning council.
It is worth noting that the Bishkek city hall provided the developer with three days to independently rectify the violations. Currently, the dismantling work is actively ongoing — the roof and part of the floor have been demolished.
Special attention is being paid to restoring the fountain area that previously existed on this site. Restoring the fountain composition has become a mandatory condition for bringing the area into order.
Earlier, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, emphasized that the construction of the "Aychurek" facility near TSUM must strictly comply with the approved sketch project. The developer's management assured the city authorities of compliance with the agreed documents during the construction process.
