At the same time, 133 judges who demonstrated high results were awarded letters of appreciation.
At the court plenum, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, reported serious problems in the work of some courts.
He noted that among the 441 active judges of local courts, 137 have low quality performance indicators, which constitutes 31% of the total number of judges.
Nevertheless, 133 judges who showed excellent results received official letters of appreciation.
In addition, Satyiev reported that in 2025, first-instance courts reviewed 280,308 cases, which is 13.52% more compared to 2024.
According to the chairman, the increase in the number of cases may be related to population growth, increased legal literacy among citizens, and greater trust in the judicial system. At the same time, this may indicate a rise in offenses, crimes, as well as civil and administrative disputes.
