According to the city hall, the mayor emphasized the importance of completing the construction work on time and with high quality, highlighting the safety of citizens, especially children.
“Currently, as part of the street expansion, the old asphalt surface is being dismantled, roads are being leveled, shoulders are being cleared, gas pipes and electrical poles are being relocated, and irrigation ditches are being installed. Concrete is also being used to reinforce the bridge supports. The mentioned streets will be expanded to four lanes. The project includes the construction of pedestrian sidewalks, the creation of parks, street lighting, the installation of irrigation ditches, and the improvement of green areas,” the press release states.
