During the discussion of the ratification of the agreement on the construction of a new campus for KRSU in the village of Baytik, deputy Saltanat Amanova raised the issue of complaints received from university staff regarding salary reductions.
However, Sergey Volkov denied these rumors. He clarified that in 2024, the salary base was increased threefold. Currently, the minimum salary is 28,000 soms, the salary of a professor is 60,000, and the salary of a department head is 70,000 soms. In addition, this year salaries will be raised taking inflation into account.
