Deputy Saltanat Amanova emphasized that previously the salaries at the university were high; however, there are currently complaints about their decrease.
According to Rector Sergey Volkov, by the end of 2024, the salary base for employees will triple. Thus, the minimum salary will be 28,000 soms, while professors will earn about 60,000 soms, and department heads will earn approximately 70,000 soms.
He also added that this year, employees' salaries will be further increased in accordance with the level of inflation.
It should be noted that the committee is currently considering a draft law on the construction of a new campus for the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on a 30-hectare site in the Baytik rural district of the Alamudun region in the Chui province.
