During the current meeting, the ratification of the agreement for the construction of the student campus of KRSU in the village of Baytik is also being considered. During the discussion, Deputy Bolot Saginayev asked about the existence of similar initiatives for other universities in the country and the size of the land plots at their disposal.
According to the deputy minister, ten higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan have special statuses, which opens up new opportunities for their development. Regarding land resource issues, he promised to provide more detailed information in writing.
As an example of successful infrastructure expansion of educational institutions, Durus Isaev mentioned the under-construction campus of KNU.
“The work on the new 16-story building, which is being constructed on the site of the old KNU dormitory, is already one-third complete. This multifunctional complex will include administrative offices and classrooms for students. Overall, there is potential for the construction of new educational campuses in Kyrgyzstan,” he concluded.
