In the "Jubailar" section, we will tell the story of the love between Aliya Tahirjanova from the Chui region and her husband Alexander Zarubin.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, Aliya shared how their story began.

“I was born on January 18, 2007, in the Chui region and spent my childhood in the village of Bosteri. Now I live in Moscow with my husband and am engaged in custom clothing tailoring. I am also studying at the 'Praktika School,' where I am mastering the profession of a fashion designer,” she said.

Aliya got married at the age of 18, and her husband owns a sewing production. They met in the winter of 2023 when she and her mother were looking for work in the sewing industry and saw an advertisement from Alexander. They met at the interview.

After some time of communication, in the summer of 2024, Alexander revealed his feelings, but Aliya hesitated because he was not a Muslim. However, he promised, “I will convert to Islam and marry you.”

On August 5, 2024, he announced that he had accepted Islam, and since then, their relationship became more serious. Although some relatives were against it, Aliya's mother eventually gave her blessing.

On October 10, 2025, the couple held their nikah at the mosque, and on October 16, their wedding took place in full accordance with Kyrgyz traditions.

Alexander Zarubin, born on July 14, 1992, in Solikamsk, Perm Krai, was supported by his parents, who said, “This is your life, your choice. We wish you happiness.” However, some of Aliya's relatives expressed dissatisfaction, stating, “He is Russian; you have different mentalities.”

Aliya quickly adapted to her new life, thanks to her caring husband. After the wedding, his parents spent a week with them and then suggested that they live separately.

“We have many funny moments. Alexander and I share a similar sense of humor, and people often look surprised when they see us together on the street,” Aliya shares.

Alexander's family was not familiar with Kyrgyz traditions, so they did not hold large ceremonies, but they gifted Aliya a large Russian shawl and a Russian doll for her sister. Overall, the wedding followed Kyrgyz customs.

Among the challenges, Aliya mentions the language barrier, which caused misunderstandings, but they overcame these problems and continue to build their life together.

At the moment, Aliya does not have significant achievements, but on February 24, she had a pre-defense of her clothing collection sketches.

The couple has been living together for 4 months and 24 days. In her free time, Aliya engages in repairing and altering clothes at home or for neighbors.

Her dreams for the future are to open her own clothing brand and become a mother. Although they do not have children yet, they hope to become parents soon.
