
The official part of the holiday was opened by the head of the Oktyabrsky aiyl okmotu, Zhanibek Orozaliev, who emphasized the importance of supporting national customs and uniting society.
According to him, "Nowruz symbolizes the renewal of nature, motherhood, and a happy life. This holiday has become a national celebration and embodies unity and revival."
Renat Aitimbetov, the deputy director of the regional office, emphasized that the joint celebration of Nowruz is a sign of strong partnership.
"We sincerely congratulate you on this great spring holiday. We are celebrating it together for the second time, which demonstrates our strong friendship and mutual respect. Such events unite people and create an atmosphere of unity. I am confident that this tradition will continue in the future," he added.
The park "Yntymak-2" was filled with a festive atmosphere. Yurts were set up for guests, representing various themes: the "Eurasia" yurt, the "Friendship of Peoples" yurt, and the craftspeople's yurt. In the "Eurasia" yurt, visitors could learn about the organization's activities and the main projects being implemented in Kyrgyzstan.
In the "Friendship of Peoples" yurt, cultural performances took place: songs and dances reflecting the richness of the traditions of the peoples of Eurasia. Guests in the craftspeople's yurt could not only admire the works of local artisans but also participate in master classes, creating their own products.
Respected guests attended the celebration, including Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov, head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan Albert Zulkharnayev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh Gulya Kozhokulova, Dastan Bekeshev, Vice-Speaker Bolot Ibraimov, and representatives of the KR SU.
Special attention was given to the traditional dish sumolok, symbolizing abundance and revival. It is made from sprouted wheat with the addition of flour and oil, and volunteers from "Eurasia" treated everyone who wished to try it.
The program of the holiday was diverse and included a concert featuring performances by popular ensembles and creative groups. For children, master classes on drawing on the themes of Nowruz were organized, allowing them to express their creative abilities.
There were also national competitions, such as tug-of-war, belt wrestling, sack races, and stone throwing.
Overall, the event took place in the spirit of friendship, unity, and respect for national traditions, bringing together residents and guests of the capital.
