President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov congratulated the women of the country on International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8.
“Dear mothers, beloved sisters! Esteemed women of Kyrgyzstan! I sincerely congratulate you on March 8 — International Women's Day!” — he noted in his address.
The cultures and traditions of our people have been known since ancient times, and it is these that have shaped the values regulating family relationships — both between men and women, and between generations. The folk wisdom passed down from generation to generation emphasizes the high status of women in society: “A man is the support of the home, and a woman is the foundation of family well-being.” These sayings highlight the importance of a woman's role in preserving family values and societal stability.
Because of this, women have always been treated with special respect in our nation. Outstanding mothers such as Chyyrdy, Kanykey, and Aichurok have made significant contributions to the fate of our people. The tradition of considering mothers as sacred and treating daughters with honor is an important part of Kyrgyz culture.
In the context of globalization, preserving national traditions becomes especially important. Despite changes in the world, the moral foundations laid by our ancestors, including respect for women, must not be forgotten. The path to a bright future begins with the upbringing provided by our mothers. A nation that respects its mothers and fathers will never be humiliated.
The state also values women as guardians of the home and as a vital force contributing to societal development, providing them with support in all areas. We are proud of Kyrgyz women who make significant contributions to the development of education, science, culture, and other fields. In the history of the country, the names of such outstanding women as Kakish Ryskulova and Batys Salieva have become symbols of the strength and potential of Kyrgyz women.
Many modern women follow in the footsteps of their predecessors, achieving success in various fields and making important contributions to the development of the country.
Our task is to continue to maintain respect for women and follow the traditions that have led to the emergence of respected women. Understanding the significance of returning to our roots and traditions leads to an increase in the status of women, honoring mothers, and respecting daughters.
