A Kyrgyzstani in the USA faces up to 28.5 years in prison in a fatal car accident case

The traffic accident involving Bekzhan B. occurred on February 3. According to a source from The Commercial Review, the Kyrgyzstani is facing several charges, including four counts of causing death by negligence. The investigation believes that the accident was caused by driver fatigue, speeding, and ignoring safe distance regulations.

According to police data, Bekzhan B. was driving a Freightliner truck and was unable to stop when the tractor-trailer in front began to slow down due to heavy traffic. As a result, he veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Chevrolet van.

Currently, the Kyrgyzstani is under arrest, and his bail is set at $100,000. If the court finds him guilty on all charges, he could face a maximum sentence of 28.5 years in prison.
