During the celebration of Nowruz in Naryn, the representatives of the At-Bashinsky district amazed all the attendees with their unusual culinary creations.

One of the most impressive treats at the exhibition was "olobo" — a Kyrgyz national dish made in enormous sizes from light horse meat.

As told by Zhiparkul Tilegenova, one of the residents of the At-Bashinsky district, its preparation required a significant amount of effort and time.

“The process involved 130 liters of milk, 5 liters of melted butter, and 2.5 packs of salt. The cooking time was 7.5 hours. For comparison, a regular lamb lung requires only about 20 liters of milk, which emphasizes the scale of our olobo made from horse lung,” she shared.

Additionally, on the tables of the At-Bashinsky people, one could see original meat products shaped like a duck, a hedgehog, and a mouse, as well as traditional dishes such as beshbarmak, chuchuk, kertken jal, tash kordo, as well as marinated turkey and chicken meat. National drinks and a variety of baked goods also received attention.
