The concert scheduled for April 5 by Russian performer Polina Gagarina in Astana has been canceled. This information appeared in the media, citing the ticket service Zakazbiletov.kz.
It is reported that the cancellation occurred "for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, the artist, and the service." Ticket buyers will be able to refund their money within two weeks.
No information about the upcoming concert in Astana is available on the singer's official website.
Gagarina's tour plans include performances in Bishkek on April 15 and in Tashkent on April 16.
It should be noted that previously in Kazakhstan, Polina Gagarina's concerts have also been canceled multiple times. In 2023, her performance in Almaty was canceled due to public opinion, and in November 2025, the concert in Astana did not take place despite ticket sales having begun.
Kazakhstani media emphasize that the cancellations of concerts by Russian artists in the country in recent years often provoke public discussion and criticism on social media, especially in the context of their positions on the conflict in Ukraine.
