Due to severe frosts, schools in the Ak-Talinsky district switched to distance learning

Due to a sharp drop in temperature, schools in the Ak-Talinsky district of the Naryn region have switched to online learning for a period of one week. The deputy akim of the district, Kanybek Esenaliev, reported this to the Kabar agency.

He noted that this decision was made at an operational headquarters to ensure the safety of students and protect their health.

“The temperature in the district has significantly decreased. In the morning it can reach -30…-35°C, which creates difficulties for students who need to travel to schools from remote areas. Some of them walk up to two kilometers in cold weather, which is why the switch to distance learning was made,” Esenaliev added.
