On January 14, a presentation of the first copies of the collection of poems by Alykul Osmonov in Hungarian took place at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary. The event was organized in honor of the 110th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kyrgyz poet.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, this literary project was initiated by Hungarian Turkologist Shomfai Kara David. It was implemented with the support of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary and aimed at popularizing Kyrgyz classical poetry, as well as strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
The collection contains translations of the most significant works of Alykul Osmonov, which demonstrate his philosophical depth, humanitarian ideas, and the national identity of the Kyrgyz people.
It should be noted that a key role in the successful implementation of the project was played by the main sponsor, renowned lawyer and philanthropist F. Papchak.
