According to them, visibility at the airport currently fluctuates between 400 and 800 meters; however, takeoffs and landings continue as usual.
According to reports from the press service, the airlines Pegasus and Turkish Airlines, operating on the Turkish route, have canceled their flights. Additionally, the local carrier Tez Jet has also canceled two flights to the city of Manas without providing explanations.

It should be noted that a modern Category III (CAT III) lighting system has been installed at the airport. "This CAT III system is designed to ensure the safe arrival and departure of aircraft even in conditions of heavy fog and limited visibility, which significantly reduces the likelihood of delays and cancellations, as well as improves the stability of air traffic," the company reported.
Furthermore, the OJSC reminded that the decision to land the aircraft remains with the pilot.
