This applies to domestic flights
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has put forward for public discussion a draft proposal under which the country's airlines may be exempted from a number of fees.
The proposal aims to stabilize ticket prices and promote the development of domestic civil aviation.
Thus, the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Air Navigation" will charge only 50% of the current rates for air navigation services. At the same time, airlines registered in Kyrgyzstan and operating regular flights on eight key routes will receive a full exemption from fees for seven days after the flight is completed.
Similar measures are proposed to be implemented for airport fees.
For the JSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," it is recommended to charge airlines only half of the rate, while companies operating on the same eight routes will be completely exempt from payment for seven days.
