A draft resolution from the Cabinet of Ministers has been submitted for public discussion, which proposes to exempt air carriers from paying certain fees for domestic flights on socially significant routes. The main goal of the document is to curb the rise in air ticket prices and support the development of civil aviation within the country.

According to the proposal, the state company "Kyrgyz Air Navigation" will charge airlines only half of the established rates for air navigation services. At the same time, carriers registered in Kyrgyzstan and operating regular flights on eight key routes will be fully exempt from these fees for a period of seven calendar days from the date of the flight.

Similar measures are also planned for airport fees.

OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" is proposed to charge airlines only 50% of the established rate, while companies servicing the same eight routes will be completely exempt from payment for seven days.
