Excise tax rates on alcoholic products have been increased in Kyrgyzstan

Starting from January 1, 2026, it is planned to increase the excise tax rates on alcohol in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the State Tax Service of the country.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated December 18, 2025, the excise tax on alcoholic products will be increased in stages over three years, starting from January 1, 2026, and ending on January 1, 2029.

In particular, the excise rate on vodka will be set at 200 soms per liter starting January 1, 2026.
