The press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Osh Region reported that a service check of the internal service is being conducted in connection with this incident. After the investigation is completed, a corresponding legal assessment will be provided.
“At the moment, official results on this case have not yet been published,” the agency clarified.
In accordance with the Law on Internal Affairs Bodies, as well as the disciplinary charter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, if a medical examination confirms that an employee arrived at work in a state of alcohol intoxication, they must be temporarily suspended from performing their official duties on the same day. Such actions are classified as a serious disciplinary violation, which is grounds for a service investigation.
Typically, such investigations are completed within 30 days, and based on their results, disciplinary measures may be applied to the employee, up to and including dismissal,” the statement noted.
