In Bishkek, as part of the reconstruction of the Sports Palace, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, instructed Mayor Aibek Junushaliev to carry out the renovation of the sports complex.
This instruction was announced during the opening of the new sports facility "Zhashtyk Arena." According to the mayor, a team is currently working on developing the concept for the upcoming reconstruction.
Aibek Junushaliev noted that the renovation of the Sports Palace will be carried out by the city hall, while preserving the historical appearance of the building. The modernization project will meet modern standards, similar to "Zhashtyk Arena," with an emphasis on multifunctionality.
It is important to note that the swimming pool located within the complex will be preserved and brought in line with current regulations. After the reconstruction is completed, the Sports Palace will become a comfortable and accessible place for both professional athletes and city residents.
