In a recent interview with NTRK, the minister stated that the average salary of Ministry of Construction employees ranges between 150,000 and 160,000 soms. Additionally, employees receive various bonuses and quarterly payments, which can allow their annual income to reach 200,000 soms in some cases. In certain departments, salaries can reach up to 500,000 soms, which has sparked active discussions on social media. In response to this, on January 21, the minister decided to clarify the situation.
“All departments operate on a self-financing principle. The average salary in our ministry is 150,000 soms, but in some cases, it can reach up to 500,000 soms,” the minister noted.
According to him, the level of income depends on the individual contribution of each specialist. Ministry of Construction employees are qualified professionals, such as architects, builders, designers, and engineers, whose skills are highly valued in the labor market. They are involved in the verification of documents and projects for the construction of complex and multi-story buildings, for which they receive appropriate compensation.
