The minister commented on the salary levels in the department
In the Ministry of Construction of Kyrgyzstan, salaries can reach up to 500,000 soms. This was reported by Minister Nurdana Oruntaev, commenting on the information about the average salary of employees, which is 150,000 soms.
In an interview with NTRK, the minister clarified that employees of the Ministry of Construction earn on average from 150,000 to 160,000 soms per month. This amount is supplemented by bonuses, quarterly payments, and various incentives, which increase the total income to 200,000 soms, and in certain departments — up to 500,000 soms.
"All our departments operate on a self-financing principle. The average salary is 150,000 soms; however, in some cases, the income can reach 500,000 soms," he noted.
According to the minister, the salary level is determined by the effectiveness of each employee's work. "Our workers are highly qualified specialists, such as architects, builders, designers, and engineers, who are actively seeking employment. They are responsible for checking documents and projects for the construction of multi-storey and complex engineering facilities. That is why their work is so highly valued, and they receive corresponding salaries for it," Oruntaev added on his Facebook account.
